Terms of use

These terms apply when you sign up for, buy or use Bodhya Edge — the website bodhyaedge.com, the study app at yeshas.bodhyaedge.com, and the Bodhya Edge mobile apps. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, ask us before you pay.

Your account

• You sign up with your name, email address and mobile number. We send a six-digit code to confirm the email address; nothing opens until it is confirmed.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself — what is done from your account is treated as done by you.
• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy on your behalf.

Free chapters

With a confirmed account you can use one full chapter of each paper free — the notes, maps, flashcards, questions and mocks for that chapter, and the planner. Which chapters are free may change; anything you have already done in them stays in your account.

What you buy

• Access, for one person, to the subjects you choose, for one CA attempt — for example CA Foundation for the January 2027 sitting. Access ends on the date shown at checkout and on your tax invoice.
• The price is per subject, shown at checkout before you pay, and includes GST. A GST tax invoice is issued for every purchase.
• It is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Nothing renews automatically and there is nothing to cancel.
• Access starts immediately after payment — see Shipping & delivery.

One phone and one laptop

• Your account works on one phone and one laptop — the first phone and the first laptop you sign in on. Any other device is refused, even with the right password.
• If one of those devices is genuinely lost, stolen or replaced, write to us from your account's email and we will release it once per attempt, so the new device can take its place.
• On an iPhone, Safari and the app added to your home screen count as the same phone.

Fair use

You may read, practise with and take notes from the material for your own study. You may not share your login, let someone else use your account, or copy, record, republish, resell, upload or circulate the material or the app. Doing so ends access without a refund, and we may close the account.

The study material

Bodhya Edge's own notes, maps, explanations and software belong to Sahaj AudTech Private Limited. Questions, answers and passages from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) are reproduced for students' private study, attributed to ICAI; they remain ICAI's. Bodhya Edge is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to ICAI.

What we promise, and what we cannot

• We work to keep the service running and the material accurate, and we correct a mistake when one is found.
• No advertising in the app, and we do not sell your data — see the Privacy policy.
• We cannot promise a result. Nothing here guarantees passing any examination, and nothing in it is professional advice.
• The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the access concerned.

Students of a coaching academy

If your institute created your login, your batch, which chapters are open and your fees are managed by your institute. These terms still apply to your use of the app.

When your access ends

The paid material closes on the end date. Your own work — your plan, progress, answers and notes — is kept for 12 months so that buying the next attempt picks up where you left off, and is deleted sooner if you ask.

Payments, refunds and cancellation

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Purchases are not refundable once made, except for a duplicate charge — the full rule is on the Cancellation & refunds page.

Changes, law and disputes

If these terms change in a way that affects what you have already paid for, we will tell you in the app, and the terms you bought under keep applying until your access ends. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction.
